Paramedics treat medical, trauma and Obstetrics and gynecology patients. They perform interventions like endotracheal intubation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, IV cannulation, emergency drugs administration, needle cricothirotomy, Triage, assessment and treating trauma victims, suturing wounds, etc. and routine diagnostic procedures, such as collecting blood samples, electro cardiogram assessment, etc. They also helps physicians in taking medical histories and health assessments, etc.
